EXHIBITING YOUR SCIENCE FAIR PROJECT

The display board is very important because it is the first thing people see. The size of the display board can be no bigger than 36" x 24". It MUST STAND ALONE.

The boards will be provided by the Menlo Science Committee.

The display' board should be eye-catching and attractive. You want it to quickly capture the attention of the audience so they will stop and take a closer look at your science fair project. You state the problem you investigated in the form of a question, your hypothesis, the methods you used, the results you obtained, and the conclusion you reached. Attached to the display board are pictures, graphs or charts that help you tell the story of your science fair project.

EVERYTHING ABOUT THE DISPLAY BOARD MUST BE NEAT AND ATTRACTIVE.

CHECKLIST:

1)     Do you have all 5 parts of the scientific process on the board?

2)     Is it attractive and NEAT?

3)     Is your QUESTION bigger than other parts to appear as a title?

4)     Did you add graphs, photos, etc., to the center of the board?
