Information about 2008 Menlo Science Fair
Date: April 10, 2008 – 6:30-8:00 pm
What is the Menlo Science Fair?
The Menlo Science Fair is a gathering of students who present projects of their own choosing during the evening of April 10, 2008. Families, friends and teachers will be invited to attend the Fair and observe students’ projects.
Who can participate in the Menlo Science Fair?
This is a voluntary event that will require a student to select a topic of interest to explore and then prepare a three-minute presentation. Both visual and oral presentations will be required. Students should be ready to talk about their project to those who attend the Fair. Students will also present their project to a small group of Science mentors, teachers or volunteers (TBD). This event is open to students in grades 2-5.
What is your role as a parent?
If your child is interested in participating, please email their name, teacher and grade to: info@menloscience.org no later than November 16, 2007.
